DMDS App Update
DMDS App Version 5.0.2.1 is here, with numerous improvements including:
Improved Info Management: Enter all track information like publisher, copyright, album, genre, etc. direct in the APP. Use the same tracks for multiple releases with no need to re-enter the track info.
How To:
- After you rip/add files to the uploader, highlight the track(s)
- Click 'Edit Info' and enter all the information for the track(s)
To create a release with your upload, enter the release name in the field provided. If no release name is entered, all your files will be uploaded to your file manager and can be used in any future or existing releases.

More Usage Reporting
We've added a number of new reports such as an enhanced 'Details Usage Report', which includes all users that were sent a Release (both those with and without usage data); as well as a 'Monthly Release Deliveries Report', which summarizes your deliveries to destinations for internal reporting and billing purposes.
We've also listened to your feedback and rolled all Cloned Releases into a single reporting record to make your data tracking faster and easier.
Time Preferences
Now you can set dates in DMDS to display in the format of your choice, and the time to your timezone, wherever you are in the world!
- Log in to DMDS
- Click 'Preferences' at the top-right, and use the drop-down menu to select the timezone, time format, and date format of your choice
Tips 'n' Tricks
Countdown Mode - Do you have a high profile release coming down the pipe, and you can't make it available to destinations, but want to make them aware that it's coming and when? Countdown Mode puts the release right at the top of destinations' Libraries, with a real-time countdown timer (eg. 3 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes) letting them know when the release will be accessible.
Here's how: From the 'Schedule' sub-tab under 'Details' when you're creating a release, change the 'Scheduled Date' to when you want the release to become available. Now click the 'Countdown Mode' option to 'On'.
It's that easy!
